Hot Honey Sauce is perfect for wings or fried chicken, or anywhere you want a bit of heat.
The recipe as written has a bit of spice but is not ‘hot’. So increase the cayenne pepper amount to taste if you are looking for for serious heat!
Just minutes to make in the microwave and you have a nice little condiment. I served it with this Pickle Brine Chicken.
Sauce will store covered in the fridge for about a week.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 Tbsps salted butter
- 2 Tbsps hot sauce (Like Frank's)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients. Microwave on medium 2 minutes. Stir to combine. Heat again if necessary to make sure butter is melted and sauce is warm.
