Dark Sweet Soy Sauce is exactly what it says! It is available at Asian grocery stores but it is also very simple to make at home.

Dark sweet soy sauce is also known as Kecap Manis (Indonesian Sweet Soy Sauce). It is readily available in Asian markets but unless you do a lot of Asian cooking that would use it up you are probably best served to just make it.

    Two ingredients and dead easy!

Combine dark soy sauce and brown sugar, bring to a boil and cook several minutes until it thickens up. Low sodium soy sauce is a good idea since it will concentrate a bit as it thickens but it isn't that much so go with what you have on hand.

You just have to be careful not to let it boil over or you will have a sticky mess! So go with a good size sauce pan!
