    Air Fryer Broccoli

Published: Jan 13, 2022 by Carolyn Hetke · This post may contain affiliate links,

It only takes moments to make Air Fryer Broccoli. It is up the middle between the dryness of oven-roasted broccoli and steamed broccoli.

    What Makes This Recipe Special?

    • This is the simplest way I am aware of to make decent cooked broccoli. The microwave can easily overcook it. Steaming is ok but has a lot of extra pans/steps involved.
    • This dish is ready in minutes.

    How To Make It

    • It only takes a few moments. My Pampered Chef Air Fryer does not require preheating, but if yours does, you will need to add that step.
    • To stalk or not to stalk? My husband hates broccoli stalks and I prefer them over the florets. So- a head of broccoli works out pretty well for us! I would suggest most people who don't care for the stalk probably don't peel that tough outer skin off.
    • Cut off the bottom of the stalk. If there is a hole in the middle keep working your way up the stalk until it is solid. At the cut end strip the tough skin with a knife. If you catch the bottom and pull it will strip off naturally. Repeat around the stalk. Now you have nice, tender stalks!
    • Lemon and salt are my go-to toppings for broccoli but you could add grated Parmesan and a pinch of garlic salt if you like.

Broccoli makes a perfect side, especially if your main item has a bit of sauce!

Note: My Air fryer is a Pampered Chef one and I absolutely love it! I have not tried others but based on my research the Pampered Chef with its 2 tray and cube configuration is more versatile than others. You can actually do a 2-3 lb rotisserie chicken in it! it toasts, roasts, bakes, reheats, dehydrates besides air frying. No folks... this is not a sponsored post - I am just sharing my enthusiasm!
