    Lime Crema

This Lime Crema makes a great condiment for tacos, burritos, nachos and all kinds of Mexican fare.

You can whip it up in minutes. Let it sit a half hour or so to allow the flavours to develop.

You can use light sour cream and light mayo to keep the calories down.

I like to use garlic powder (not salt) in this as opposed to fresh garlic because it fresh garlic can be quite sharp and it risks overpowering the lime flavour.

Serve Lime Crema anywhere a hit garlicky lime would go well.

I served it with these Argentinian Grilled Shrimp Tacos

and these Pulled  Pork Tacos.  The cool, fresh lime was an especially nice complement to the smoky heat of the Chipotle Shrimp Tacos.
