Casas del Bosque Gran Reserva Pinot Noir 2019 Casablanca Valley, Chile $22.95 VINTAGES#: 525022 gets a 92 from Tim Atkins who describes it as serious and concentrated with plum, raspberry fruit and wood spice. Drink date: 2022-2026
Domaine des Quatre Vents Fleurie 2019 Beaujolais, France $23.95 VINTAGES#: 2378 If you are a Beaujolais fan take note! Decanter World Wine Awards 2021 gave this a 97 score and describe 'gorgeous aromatics' and an expressive palate. Look for plush blackberry jam, warm bramble and toasty oak. Stock up and enjoy with Beef Burgundy or steak on the Bar-B.
Clos Henri Pinot Noir 2017 Marlborough, New Zealand $34.95 LCBO#: 56556 gets a 95 from Christina Pickard of Wine Enthusiast who describes layers of red fruit, spice and crushed stone aromas. She calls the palate poised and quietly powerful with fine grained tannins. I think I saw Rack of Lamb on special somewhere that is calling me now.....
