Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad
- 4 chicken tenders see Note 1 for variation
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 2 cups coleslaw mix (bagged)
- ¼ cup sliced almonds (I used ½ cup)
- ⅓ cup chow mein noodles (I skipped these in light of additional almonds)
Applebee's Oriental Dressing
Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad
Bake the chicken strips according to package instructions. (Usually 16-18 minutes at 425℉) Mine were 16 minutes on air fry. Allow tenders to cool.
Mix the salad and cabbage. Divide evenly among 4 plates. Slice tenders thinly and divide evenly among the plates. Top with almond slices and chow mein noodles if using. Drizzle with dressing and serve right away.
Note 1: Original recipe calls for ¼ cup slice almonds and 4 tenders and ½ teaspoon sesame oil. I increased the tenders to 8 since mine were small and I upped the almonds to ½ cup because I skipped the chow mein noodles and upped the sesame oil from ½ to 1 tsp.
