Mutual Life Cafeteria Potato Salad

- 4 cups potatoes cut into 1 " cubes
- 2 small onions finely diced
- 1 Tbsps margarine
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 4 Tbsps vinegar
- 2 Tbsps sugar
Cover potatoes in water in a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a strong simmer. Allow potatoes to cook about 15 minutes until they are tender.
Sauté onions in margarine (about 5 minutes).
Add potatoes and stir to mix.
Add remaining ingredients and cook until all ingredients are warm.
Serve immediately.
