- 1 cup white rice
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
Rinse the rice kernels in a sieve several times.
Heat the water, butter, oil, bouillon cube and salt in the microwave for about 5 minutes. Stir to dissolve the bouillon cube.
Add rice to a casserole, cover with water mixture.
Cover and cook at 330° for 35 minutes.
Check that water has been absorbed. Allow to sit 10 minutes, fluff with a fork to separate kernels and serve.
