Four wines you might not want to miss from the LCBO Vintages Release Aug 31st, 2019.
Good Bets Under $35
Rhone, France VINTAGES#: 142125 $15.95
This white Grenache blend is described as unctuous, crisply concentrated lemony and waxy by Anne Lee Iijima of Wine Enthusiast who awarded it a score of 90 and a Best Buy vote. This would be a great food wine with grilled scallops or white fish.
Itata Valley Chile, VINTAGES#: 928580 $18.95
Santa Carolina is always a reliable Chilean choice. Vintages panel are calling this ‘gorgeous, beautifully integrated, balanced..punching above its price point … with oak, spice and a hint of saline minerality. ‘ Sounds like a good bet to me!

James Halliday of winecompanion.com.au gave this a 94 point score and a Value + rating. He describes ‘scented pepper, spice and black cherry ‘A solid producer with grapes from Barossa and Eden Valley.
