There are lots of good value wines in LCBO Vintages Release April 4th, 2020 and France is making a particularly good showing.
I am also going to highlight that Ontario’s 2027 Cellars has recently been licensed to sell directly to the public! Winemaker Kevin Panagapka is an absolute genius when it comes to showcasing Niagara ‘terroir’. He keeps a tight focus on his Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs and Riesling. They consistently score in the nineties Shipping is free. Check them out here.
Media tasting for the LCBO releases have been discontinued until further notice so the recommendations for today’s release are based on a combination of tried and true producers and other wine writer previous reviews.
