Here are the highlights of the wines that I sampled at the media tasting for this LCBO Vintages Release.  This is based on the sub-set of wines Vintages put on offer for review.  The Best are the highest scoring based on my tasting experience. The Rest are the remaining wines I happened to review and include wines of interest and value.

France and Italy tend to be the stars of this release but there are some seriously good value wines from Australia and a number of wines under $20 that just missed the 90 point mark.

Since I have had the opportunity to join the media tasting lab for Vintages releases I would say my first major AHA has been how many lesser known grapes, especially Italian, are actually intriguing and very good value.
