Ingredients
  • 1/2cup fresh finely grated parmesanor other dry, firm cheese
  • fresh ground black pepperoptional
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Using the fine side of a box grater, grate the cheese.
  4. Using a Tablespoon, make a mound of grated cheese on the parchment, leaving a inch or more between each mound.
  5. Sprinkle the mound with fresh ground black pepper if desired.
  6. Bake 3-5 minutes until cheese has melted and starts to crisp and turn golden colour.
  7. Remove from oven, allow to cool and serve or store in an air tight container for a few days.
