This is a hardworking recipe!  There are a few variations listed below to take you from basic corn bread to muffins, to chili-topping dumplings.

The basic corn bread is actually a rather dry bread and it is perfect for the base of my favourite holiday dressing –  Corn Bread Dressing.  You could serve it beside Spicy Chili or with butter and jam while it is warm and fresh from the oven. The Wine Lover’s Picks for October 15, 2016 LCBO Release

This release has two features,  Piedmont’s Barbaresco and Barolo Wines, and California Wine Picks from the outstanding 2012, 13, and 14 vintages. There are some luscious wines among those features but they don’t fit within my ‘mandate’ of finding the best wine values in the $15-$35 price range. Pinot Gris/Grigio Wine Tasting Opportunity Oct 15, 2016 LCBO Release

Did you know…. that Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio are the exact same grape?  Pinot Gris originated in the Burgundy region of France from the Pinot family… and Gris means gray in French, grigio – gray in Italian.
