Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend til smooth. Pour into mug(s) and heat in microwave about 90 seconds. Leave lots of head space in your cup so it doesn’t bubble over.
  2. Store any excess if fridge and reheat as required.
Recipe Notes

Note 1– If using dried turmeric, combine 1/4 cup of ground turmeric and 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan and simmer until it reduces to a thick paste.  Cool and store in the fridge.  For 4 servings replace the fresh turmeric with 2 teaspoons of paste.

Note 2: Original recipe calls for 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon but I find it makes the drink a bit ‘grainy’ and tends to sink to the bottom of the cup into a sludge.  I prefer the reduced amount.

Note 3:  Nutritional values are based on 2% milk.  Use Almond milk if you want to save 100 calories and avoid dairy.
