2017 has seen a few recipes soar head and shoulders above the others! Here  are the most popular recipes  on The Wine Lover’s Kitchen for 2017!

Some recipes see seasonal flurries of activity but the recipes below, most of which I have been making for years, see constant traffic every day.

I almost didn’t publish #1 because I was having trouble getting a good photo of it.  I had a real learning curve on my photography skills this year.  So I made a point to remake it and reshoot it.  The original however does keep chugging along at a regular pace every day.  I think it is the emphasis on getting a German-style torte for very little effort.  The other one looks like more work but it is honestly easy if you have a pastry bag and a big tip,

#2   Rolled Tea Sandwiches – who knew tea sandwiches were so popular!

This is a recipe from my Mother that she made for her bridge club. I was fascinated by them as a child and do manage to incorporate them into my entertaining at least once a year!Rolled Tea Sandwiches

This was a new recipe for me prompted by all those delicious jumbo Argentinian wild shrimp that Wag Jag promotes.  Trust me – it does not disappoint! The sauce is not shown but it a real keeper as well!
